 Jambala, The Seven Gates of - Thalion

 On the title screen you have to enter "YICKE YACKE H[HNERKACKE",
hold  down the left shift button,  hold down  "1",  release  "1",
release  left shift.  The title will turn blue now.  In case  you
have a non English machine the above string to be entered may  be
different - for the German keyboard,  for example, it will be the
intended "ZICKE ZACKE HÜHNERKACKE".  In the game,  keys 1-7  take
you to the corresponding levels,  F1-F5 select weapons, "G" gives
you gold. Other functions keys also do bits.

 James Pond - Millenium

 Type  "MR2" and press return.  You can now toggle cheat mode  by
pressing RETURN; all inter-level locks will disappear by pressing
"D".  You can jump to levels (once having activated the cheat) by
entering "Z-1",  "X-2", "C-3", "V-4", "B-5", "N-6", "M-7", ",-8",
".-9" or "/-10" (the keys on the lowest row of a UK ST).  You can
add items to yourself with keys 1-0 (and "-", "=" and SPACE), and
"S" will make you shake (some cheat, eh?).

 Judge Dredd - Virgin

 Boot  the game and start as Dredd.  Then enter "BRUCKEN  PLAYING
HERO  QUEST" and press RETURN.  Exit from the computer  and  HELP
will help you to get to the end of each level.

 J.U.G. - Microdeal

 Hold  down  "Escape"  on the title screen and  click  the  mouse
pointer on the right edge of the screen.  You'll get infy eny and
nine livy.

 Jumping Jackson

 Some   passwords   are   "KAYLEIGH",   "ALCHEMY",   "OCTOBERON",
"TANGRAM", "INCUBUS" and "SIRIUS".

- K -------------------------------------------------------------

 Karate Kid II - Anco

 "P" skips a level. Sounds like a Steve Bak game to me. According
to  some,  you have to enter your name as "MYAGI" in the  hiscore
table  in order to achieve this in the first  place.  This  might
not be necessary at all, though.

 Kick Off 2 - Anco

 Press all function keys in order F1,  F2, F3, F4....etc. Do this
twice during play.  The words "S12" or "S14" should appear in the
top right-hand corner.  The computer goal keeper is now inactive.
When taking a penalty, press "R" to see where to ball goes.

 Kid Gloves

 Pause  the  game  and  enter  "RHIANNON".  Press  F9  to  become
invulnerable. The other functions keys also do nice things.

 Killing Cloud - Imageworks

 The  access  codes  are the  following:  MISSION  2 -  AOOTOOEV,
MISSION 3 - 255FA1E1, MISSION 4 - QII8A1EK, MISSION 5 - 3KU6AZE3,

 Killing Game Show - Psygnosis

 The HELP key can be pressed during the "Good Luck" screen.  This
will show a map of the level. When pressed during the "Press Fire
to Continue" screen, you will get all your lives back!

 King's Quest

 Pressing [ALTERNATE] and "D" will get you into special mode. You
can  use "TP" to jump to any room,  and "GET ALL" followed by  an
object number to get that object.

 King's Quest II

 Pressing [ALTERNATE] and "D" will get you into special mode. You
can  use "TP" to jump to any room,  and "GET ALL" followed by  an
object number to get that object.

 King's Quest III

 Pressing [ALTERNATE] and "D" will get you into special mode. You
can  use "TP" to jump to any room,  and "GET ALL" followed by  an
object number to get that object.

 Klax

 Press SPACE and "4" simultaneously to get to the last level.

 Larry (Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards) -
 Sierra-on-Line

 Press ALTERNATE and "X" at the title pic, followed by RETURN. No
answers to be concocted to difficult questions then!
 Pressing [ALTERNATE] and "D" will get you into special mode. You
can  use "TP" to jump to any room,  and "GET ALL" followed by  an
object number to get that object.

 Last Duel - U.S. Gold

 Start the ganme,  pause (F9) and hold down HELP,  LEFT SHIFT and
"1".  Then unpause.  The functions keys will now move you through
the levels, and F8 will give you five lives.

 Last Ninja - System 3

 The level codes are the following:  1 - "SUSS",  2 - "IMED", 3 -
"URTI",  4 - "BASD", 5 - "NUOS" and 6 - "REOO". These words typed
together  and  spelled  backwards  go "Ooer  sounds  a  bit  rude
missus".
 The codes might be for "Last Ninja 3" actually.

 Leander - Psygnosis

 Passwords: Level 2 "ZXFT", level 3 "LVFT".
 You  can  also enter the password as  "LTUS",  after  which  you
should have infinite lives.  Then pause with F8, skip levels with
F6 and fire simultaneously (?!).

 Leatherneck - Microdeal

 Type "CUTHBERTNECK" during the game,  followed by F3.  You  will
now be invincible.

 Led Storm - U.S. Gold

 Enter "DAVID BROADHURST WANTS TO CHEAT" for infinite lives.

 Lemmings - Psygnosis

 On  the  title screen you can type "FQUIGGLY"  to  activate  the
cheat modes.  Let's hope this works with you, for it seems not to
with  me.   Nonetheless  I've  read  this  password  in   several
magazines.  It  should keep your lemmings from suicide,  or  make
them immortal, or whatever.
 Another  method,   read  elsewhere,   works  as  follows.  Enter
"LEMNGFINAL",  followed by "IAMNOTGOOD".  You can now skip levels
by  pressing  the [SPACE] bar.  Now you should skip to  the  last
level,  then skip through the 30 identical levels and the 10 two-
player levels, and you will find 20 new levels.
 There are thought to be several sets of passwords to the  actual
levels. Here are some of them in the set present in my version of
the game:

 I've also read something about hidden levels.  You have to enter
"FEMNGFINAL" as password,  followed by "IAMNOGOOD".  You can  now
skip  levels by pressing space.  Skip the last level  and  thirty
identical ones after that. Then skip the ten "player" levels, and
you'll hit 20 new levels!

 Lemmings II - Psygnosis

 Again,  there are probably several sets of passwords.  These are
the ones present in my version of the game,  with some added  off
other cheat columns' lists.  The levels with "*" behind them  are
real gastards!

 Here are a few key combinations.  They may only work with  early
versions, though. "C" turns off collision detection, "E" gives an
extra life and a full selection of power-ups, "X" quits the game,
"N" skips to the next level and "L" enters demo mode.

 Lotus Esprit Turbo Challenge - Gremlin

 Player one's name should be "ANGEL DARK"; player two's should be
"HARVEST   HOME".   When   typing   "MONSTER"   and   "SEVENTEEN"
respectively,  you will get a horizontally scrolling shoot-'em-up
(?!).  Another  cheat  allows you to enter "FIELDS OF  FIRE"  for
player 1 and "IN A BIG COUNTRY" for player 2,  making sure you'll
always qualify.

 Lotus Turbo Challenge II - Gremlin

 The passwords:  Level 2 TWILIGHT,  level 3 PEA SOUP, level 4 THE
SKIDS,  level 5 PEACHES,  level 6 LIVERPOOL,  level 7 BAGLEY  and
level  8  E BOW.  You can enter the following codes  to  activate
cheats:  TURPENTINE (timer stays at 10 seconds); DEESIDE advances
to next level when timer reaches zero.  DUX enters a neat  little
shoot-'em-up.

- M -------------------------------------------------------------

 Magicland Dizzy - Codemasters

 Enter "DIAMONDS AND PEARLS" to acquire infinite lives  (anywhere
in the game). After that you have to press "P" to depause.

 Magic Pockets - Renegade

 When  you fall over because you've lost all your lives keep  the
fire  button  pressed.   Your  score  will  remain  intact!  Some
magazine  have claimed that "P" will move you one  level  further
but this is pure ballocks for it merely enter PAUSE mode.

 Marble Magic

 Press  ALTERNATE,  CONTROL and "T"  simultaneously.  Then  press
ALTERNATE,  CONTROL  and "Y" (might be "Z" on  QWERTZ  machines).
Then  type  in the screen you want to access,  press  RETURN  and
you're there.

 Mickey Mouse - Gremlin

 Type  "61315688" during the game.  F2 will then lead you to  the
subgame, F3 to fight the witch and F4 to get the gun.

limitless quantities.

 Midwinter

 When skiing,  go to "S" (sniper mode) and zoom in maximally. You
will be invincible for rockets now.

 Monty Python - Virgin

 Enter "SEMPRINI" on the hiscore table.  You will get some  handy

 Ork - Psygnosis

 Go  to the in-game computer.  Press fire in each  corner.  After

increases  lives,  "G" paralyzes the baddies,  "Z"/"T" kills  all
baddies  on a stage,  "M" collects all three parasol  stars,  "X"
goes to the secret world, "D" kills player one, "B" goes to bonus
stage, "F1"-"F10" selects world and "1"-"7" selects stage. You'll
get to see none of the end sequence now, though.

 Predator 2 - Mirrorsoft

 Pause  the game and enter "YOU'RE ONE UGLY MUTHA".  This may  be
with  the quotes,  or with brackets () instead of  quotes.  After
this,  apparently  F6 changes weapons and F8 for-forwinds you  to
the  end of the level.  If the above doesn't work,  try  "MOTHER"
instead of "MUTHA".

 Prehistoric Tale, A - Thalion

 Typing  "OOH CRIKEY WOT A SCORCHER" during the first  intro  pic
will  cause the intro to have an extra long scroller (with  extra
'hidden' text.  Typing "PLAY THE SPASEBO BLUES" in the main  menu
will  cause  the  real  cheat  to  be  activated.  Many  keys  do
something; 1-3 will go to the corresponding sub-games.
